An accidental parlour game

I have found a new game anyone can play – all you need is a Smart Phone with the what3words app installed, a bit of imagination for word association and time to kill.
The what3words App is actually a smart bit of kit; a digital geocoding system that rather than being limited to looking up addresses or 6 digit latitude and longitude map reference lets you identify any location to an accuracy of a 10 by 10 foot square that it identifies with three seemingly random words.
Intended to help individuals to identify an exact location with an easy to remember and relate 3 word name it can be a real life saver if you become lost or need emergency assistance in a location that you do not know or is well off the beaten trail.
But it is also a rather compelling word association game
Try these examples;
///bright.jacket.dream
///vote.paid.next
///glitz.thick.critic
///forum.noble.teams
///cult.divide.successes
Now guess which locates;
Lords Cricket Ground
The Labour Party HQ
The Conservative Party HQ
BBC Televison Centre
The Houses of Parliament
Got the idea?
You can wile away many an hour trying your own combinations – the App covers the world with 10x10 foot squares so your options are more or less unlimited and the resulting associations often will surprise you – its a compelling parlour game that could also save your life if you fall off say ///next.alas.sharpens
